The play is about ZilĀ KALNA Marta (MARTA FROM THE BLUE HILL)- an ordinary Latvian country woman who had the most extraordinary abilities. A healer, A prophet- during her lifetime she was able to help thousands of people from all over Latvia. No politician, artist or public figure in the history of the Latvian nation has earned such a great respect of the people, and no one has been able to do as much for the Latvian people as she - ZilĀ kalna Marta. She was intelligent and loved her homeland.
The play is based on the memories of eyewitnesses.
